Our Standard Hot Water Heater Installation is a flat-rate replacement service designed to provide a straightforward, professional installation of a new natural-gas water heater.
Equipment
The standard installation includes:
One new State natural-gas water heater
40- or 50-gallon tank, as applicable to the installation
New, not used or reconditioned, equipment
Manufacturer's applicable warranty for the installed water heater
The specific water heater model and tank size will be confirmed based on the installation requirements and equipment availability.
What's Included
The $2,950 standard installation includes, subject to the existing installation being suitable for a standard replacement:
New water heater
Removal of the existing water heater
Disposal of the existing water heater
Standard installation labor
Standard water connections
Standard gas connection work required for the replacement
Standard temperature and pressure relief components
Standard drain connection
Standard vent connection where compatible with the existing installation
Startup and testing
Verification of operation
Normal cleanup of the immediate work area
Additional Work
The $2,950 flat-rate price applies to a standard replacement installation.
Conditions requiring work outside the standard installation may result in additional charges. Examples include:
Water heater relocation
Major water or gas repiping
Vent-system modifications or replacement
Electrical modifications
New electrical circuits or outlets
Structural modifications
Drywall, painting, masonry, or finish work
Water-damage or mold remediation
Corrections required to bring an existing installation into compliance with applicable codes
Special equipment or difficult-access requirements
Additional materials or labor outside the standard installation
Other work outside the standard installation scope
If additional work is required, 1 HOUR HOT WATER will explain the work and associated cost before performing chargeable additional work whenever reasonably possible.
Permits and Inspections
Permits and inspections are handled according to the requirements of the applicable jurisdiction.
Permit and inspection requirements may vary by location and existing installation conditions.
Any applicable permit fees or other costs outside the standard installation price will be communicated to the customer as required.
Payment
Total Installation Price: $2,950
Customers may choose either:
Pay in Full:
$2,950 paid at booking.
Work-Order Deposit:
$2,000 paid at booking, with the remaining $950 due upon completion.
The $2,000 deposit reserves the scheduled installation appointment.
Warranty
The installed water heater is covered by the manufacturer's applicable warranty for the specific model installed.
1 HOUR HOT WATER's installation workmanship warranty is provided according to the terms of the Installation Agreement.
Manufacturer and installation workmanship warranties are separate.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate service-address and contact information
Providing reasonable access to the water heater and work area
Identifying known access limitations or unusual site conditions
Providing any required property-owner, landlord, or other authorization
Making required payments when due
Customer Agreement
Before booking, customers will have an opportunity to review the 1 HOUR HOT WATER Standard Water Heater Installation Agreement, including payment, cancellation, warranty, existing-condition, and additional-work terms.
By proceeding with the booking, the customer acknowledges that the $2,950 price applies to the standard installation scope described above and that additional work outside that scope may result in additional charges.
